JUCO recruiting marks

How to read these

JUCO depth ranges enormously, from open-door developmental programs to national powerhouses that rival D1. The marks below are a rough middle; strong JUCO programs want D1-level performances, while others welcome developing athletes.

How JUCO works

JUCO programs, governed mainly by the NJCAA, are two-year colleges. Athletes compete for up to two years, often improve dramatically, and then transfer to a four-year program with their grades and marks rebuilt.

Why choose the JUCO path

JUCO is a strong option for athletes who need to develop, raise their grades, or get more time and reps before a four-year program. Many D1 athletes came through JUCO, using it to earn the marks and academics they lacked out of high school.
