[01]D2 Track Recruiting Standards

D2 recruiting marks

How to read these

These are approximate marks that put you on a D2 coach's radar, drawn from typical recruited performances. Top D2 programs want more and weaker ones less, so treat them as a target range rather than a guarantee.

Where D2 sits

D2 marks generally fall just below D1 and above D3, though the strongest D2 programs overlap with mid-tier D1. Being clearly within the D2 range in a scoring event is what earns interest and aid.

What matters beyond the mark

Coaches also weigh your trajectory, your academics, and whether your event is a team need. A still-improving junior with a D2 mark is more attractive than a senior who has plateaued.
