What events does Track & Field AI support?
Ten events across three disciplines. Track: sprints (100m, 200m, 400m), 100/110m and 400m hurdles, and 4×100 / 4×400 relays. Jumps: long jump, triple jump, high jump, and pole vault. Throws: shot put, discus, and javelin. Each event uses its own AI model tuned for that event’s mechanics.
Is there really a free analysis with no credit card?
Yes. Download the app, film your rep, and get a full breakdown. No card, no sign-up, no trial countdown. After that first analysis, you’ll see paid plans if you want to analyze more.
How should I film for best results?
Use your phone in landscape mode. Side-on view works best for most events. Film from 20–40 feet away so the full movement is in frame, approach through landing or release. Bright or average lighting works fine. Practices, meets, and indoor facilities all work.
Does it work on iPhone and iPad?
Yes. Track & Field AI runs on iOS 17+ and iPadOS. It’s currently iPhone-only on the App Store; the iPad experience is next on the roadmap.
How accurate is the AI compared to a real coach?
On phase-level technique observations, “your plant leg is under vertical,” “you’re popping up by step 4”, very accurate. On absolute measurements like exact release velocity, less so. Think of the AI as a second set of eyes on specific details, not a replacement for a great coach.
Is my video private?
Yes. Videos are stored locally on your device. We don’t share, sell, or train models on user-uploaded footage. There’s no social feed, leaderboard, or public profile.
Can I cancel a subscription?
Yes, anytime from your iOS subscription settings. You keep access through the end of the current billing period.
Do I need an account?
No. You can download the app and analyze your first video without creating an account. Sign in later if you want to sync across devices (optional).
What if my video is blurry or too far away?
The AI will try its best but you’ll get more reliable feedback with a clearer, closer video. If the rep is unreadable, the app flags it and doesn’t charge you for the analysis.
How long does an analysis take?
Usually 20–60 seconds, depending on video length and your connection.
Does the AI understand non-flop high jump or glide shot put?
Yes. We support modern techniques across all events (Fosbury flop, glide shot put, spin shot put, hitch-kick long jump, sail, and hang techniques).
Can coaches use it with multiple athletes?
Yes. The Coach plan is built for coaches analyzing multiple athletes and includes multi-athlete history and shareable reports.
What if I have a technical issue?
Email us via our
contact page. We usually respond within 24 hours.
Is there a refund policy?
Refunds go through Apple (App Store), use their refund process directly in the App Store.
Will you add iPad support?
iPad support is on our roadmap. Currently the app runs on iPhones in compatibility mode on iPads, but a native iPad experience is coming.
